Leading global HVAC manufacturer, Blue Star will be a Gold partner at this year’s European Heat Pump Association (EHPA) Forum &amp; Awards. The event takes place in Brussels on the 25th and 26th September.&nbsp;The 2024 EHPA conference will highlight the importance of heat pump technology in enabling Europe to reach its carbon reduction and energy stability goals. As Europe looks to combine the challenges of global competitiveness with the need to decarbonise, the heat pump sector offers a proven solution.&nbsp;&nbsp;Tom Overs, CEO International Business Group at Blue Star, says: “With governments across Europe accelerating the adoption of heat pump technologies, manufacturers must match the growing demand with market-ready products if they are to tap into these opportunities. Blue Star enables manufacturers to meet the growing demand with custom designed HVAC solutions.”&nbsp;The theme of the EHPA conference is “Heat pumps: Competitive clean tech for all Europeans.” Speakers will address key questions such as how policy can help to drive heat pump manufacturing growth in Europe.&nbsp;This theme reflects the recent deceleration of the heat pump manufacturing market across Europe, caused in part by delays from policymakers. While manufacturers are eager to accelerate progress to 2030 decarbonisation targets, the effort will be ineffective without stronger support and decisive action from the government and policymakers.&nbsp;The EHPA 2024 Conference will bring manufacturers and other stakeholders together with leading policymakers, including Vice President of the European Parliament, Martin Hojsik, Deputy Director-General, DG Energy, European Commission as well as several MEPs and European experts on low-carbon heat.&nbsp;Jason Tinsley, Vice President of Sales for Blue Star Europe, says that Blue Star is well-placed to support manufacturers as they tackle the challenges of the heat pump market.&nbsp;“At Blue Star, we undertake research and development of innovative technologies as per European manufacturers’ needs. We can de-risk product development with our custom design approach. This reduces the time it takes to get from drawing board to production line.&nbsp;By partnering with us, manufacturers can respond quickly to new market opportunities, like those being highlighted at this year’s Conference,” he says.&nbsp;One of the reasons Blue Star is keen to support the EHPA event is that the company has a long-standing focus on sustainability in HVAC.
